Professor Lennox Samuel Liverpool

Professor Sam Liverpool has been a supporter of the Sarian Foundation since its inception. A former vice-chancellor at the University of Jos, Nigeria, Prof Liverpool has contributed widely to the development of mathematical education and has been a visiting professor in both Italy, the UK and the United States.

Prof Liverpool said "education and health are two of life's fundamentals and I will work diligently with the Sarian Foundation to make this a reality for Sierra Leone's children"


Ola Asgill
Trustee and Chair

Ola Asgill as the son of Sarian has benefitted from her guidance, support and strength of character. As a Trustee and Chair, he has been instrumental in helping to support the establishment and development of the Sarian Foundation.

A native of Sierra Leone, he personally led the development and delivery of our first project, the re-establishment of Charlotte School.




Prof Tunde 'Zac' Williams

Professor Tunde Zack-Williams is an internationally renowned scholar, who has researched and published extensively in the area of the political economy of Africa and the African Diaspora.

He is Professor Emiritus at the University of Central Lancashire, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy of the United Kingdom, a member of the British Academy Africa Panel and past president of the President of the African Studies Association of the United Kingdom and Chair of the African Network of the European Social Science Conference.
